Where the model meets the market
‍

Arcion’s first value chain is in rooftop solar. It’s one of the fastest growing sectors of the new energy transition in South Africa, and one where the absence of connected systems has historically slowed adoption at scale.

Together, the businesses and platforms assembled here form a working new energy value chain. Commerce is enabled through Solar Advice, capital is embedded through Glint, and the whole is coordinated through Arcion’s technology, data, and the expertise deployed in each business’s operational areas.

Solar subscriptions, cheaper than the grid with no upfront capital.
‍

Glint is Arcion’s solar finance and subscription platform. It is the asset in the value chain that turns interest in solar into completed transactions.
It does this by embedding financing directly into the transaction, giving solar providers a powerful tool to secure customers, and giving those customers immediate savings from day one with no upfront capital outlay required.
‍

For solar providers, Glint removes the economic barrier that has historically prevented them from closing more business.
‍

For their customers, it removes the financial barrier that has slowed the move to solar.
‍

For Arcion, Glint is the capital enabler at the heart of the value chain. It is the mechanism that makes it easy for the customer to say yes, and allows wider adoption at scale.

Glint.co.za

A hardware procurement platform aggregating installer demand to unlock better buying power and drive scale across a fragmented solar supply chain.
‍

Solar Advice is the commerce engine of Arcion’s residential solar ecosystem. Its hardware procurement platform aggregates products from leading OEMs and distributors, giving independent installers access to the buying power, product range and support they need to compete at scale.
‍

By combining aggregated procurement with competitive pricing and Glint-enabled financing, Solar Advice simplifies sourcing, improves installer economics and helps partners close and deliver more projects. This model allows Arcion to participate in the hardware value chain while strengthening, rather than competing with, its installer network.
